Your website is a low-cost, electronic customer service representative which must appear informed & up-to-the-minute so that your customers can be the informed, strategic partners that you desire.
Maintenance Plan 3 - Managed Databases includes:
- Tech support for minor DB issues
- 15% discount off our programming shop rate of $95.00 per hour for all other database maintenance work
- Install / restore database backup
- Priority "jump-the-queue" urgency service
- Optimizing table overhead
- Record pruning verification (to prevent log bloating)
- Integrity checks to test data and index page allocations for any errors
- Detect and correct database corruption
- Optimization to ensure robust and reliable DBTech
- Tech support for you to back up your own Database
- Security upgrades and updates to industry specifications as they become availalble
Data backup is specifically not offered as part of this package due to high legal liability exposure.
Typically, as is the case with Zenutech, your hosting provider runs daily back-ups which are then stored for 5 days in the event of a server failure.
Backing up data for any other reason is not part of what you pay your hosting provider, and should not be relied upon under any circumstances. If you wish to talk to us about retaining a 3rd party service for data back-up we would gladly discuss this option with you.
In non-server related emergency situations - such as someone hacking in to your DB, or an interruption during a buffer write - this may provide another recovery option, which would incur a fee from the hosting provider to recover the data.
Our database maintenance plan will decrease the possibility of a successful hacking intrusion, however, in no way guarantees it cannot and/or will not be hacked.
Pricing:
- Range from $250.00 to $500.00 per month varying with customization and complexity and also based on an initial minimum 12 month commitment after which the contract becomes month-to-month
